Acentria entered the Ugandan market, securing an IRA Uganda brokerage licence and establishing our Kampala office.

Launched MTN and Airtel Mobile Money premium collection — bringing insurance to urban and peri-urban Ugandans on their phones.
Group health expansion
Grew our corporate health portfolio to 180+ hospital network, serving SMEs and multinationals across Kampala and upcountry.
Boda-boda specialist cover
Launched Uganda's first purpose-built boda-boda insurance programme — affordable, IRA-compliant, mobile-issued.
Actuarial services launched
Extended IFRS 17 and RBC actuarial advisory to Ugandan insurers through our East Africa actuarial practice.
Oil & gas sector entry
Commenced specialist cover for Albertine Basin EACOP corridor contractors and upstream operators.
